In an encouraging move to promote art and culture among government school students, the School Education Department has announced the commencement of state art festivals, scheduled to start on November 15th. M. Arthi, the State Programme Director for Integrated School Education, has taken the lead in organizing this enriching event.
A circular has been sent by M. Arthi to all primary education officials, outlining the details and schedule of the state art festivals. According to the circular, the art festival competitions for government school students commenced in the last week of September. These competitions have witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, fostering their artistic talents.
The competitions were conducted at three levels: school, local, and district. At the school level, students had the opportunity to showcase their creativity and talents. The most promising participants then moved on to compete at the local and district levels, where their skills were honed and tested against a wider pool of talent.
The most exciting phase of these art festivals is set to unfold from November 15.
