Following complaints of rampant yse of cellphones by inmates of Puzhal prison, a surprise check was conducted by officials.

They managed to seize cellphones from five inmates. They were identified as Alexander from Sri Lanka, Columbia’s Edwin, David and Austine Buki from Nigeria and Rahman from Ernavoor.
