The unitary leadership in the main Opposition AIADMK in Tamilnadu deepened with the party after removing its coordinator and former Chief Minister O.Panneeerselvam from the party organ ‘Namadhu Amma’, has called for a meeting of its
headquarters office bearers today.

The meeting will be held at 10 am and all the office bearers are requested to attend the meeting without fail, a statement issued by the Party said, without the customary signatures of joint
statement by OPS and Co-coordinator and former CM Edappadi Palanisami, who enjoyed a majority of support of the party General Council and Executive Committee members, said, in an unusual development.

The meeting comes in the wake of OPS asserting that party cadres are with him and that those who spun the conspiracy web to weaken and divide the party will be taught a lesson by the people.
