Director Pa Ranjith, who is also known for producing films like Pariyerum Perumal and Writer, is now bankrolling a film starring Guru Somasundaram in the lead.

Directed by Ranjith’s friend and associate director Dhinakar, the film went on floors earlier today.

Sanchana Natarajan, who was seen recently in Ranjith’s Sarpatta Parambarai, is playing the female lead and the rest of the cast includes Merku Thodarchi Malai-fame Anthony, Maran, John Vijay and Sabitha Rai.

The film will be shot completely in and around Chennai.

Music is by Sean Roldan and cinematography is by Roopesh.

The project is bankrolled by Ranjith’s Neelam Productions in collaboration with Arunbalaji’s Balloon Pictures.
