The Jammu and Kashmir Police booked a local Muslim cleric for his alleged hate remarks against BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma in the Doda district.
Calling for the beheading of Nupur Sharma over the remarks made by her against Prophet Muhammad, the cleric identified as Adil Gafoor Ganai also called Hindus ‘cow urine drinkers’ and ‘cow dung eaters’.
He gave this statement while speaking from a mosque in Bhaderwah town.

Meanwhile, the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operation (IFSO) unit of the Delhi Police registered two separate cases in connection with alleged hate speeches made by various political leaders of different parties.
