Chennai: Chennai Metro Rail today said a total of 44,67,756 passengers had travelled in its trains from 1 to 31 March.
‘A total of 25,19,252 passengers had travelled in the Metro Trains from
1 to 31 January and 31,86,653 from 1 to 28 February,’ said an official release.
A total of 3,12,845 passengers had utilised the QR Code ticketing service, while 26,37,348 passengers had used Travel Card Ticketing service in the month of March, 2022, it said.
‘CMRL offers a 20 per cent discount on QR Code ticketing (Single, Return, Group Tickets and QR Trip passes).
Additionally 20 per cent discount fares are available on Metro Train Travel Cards.’
