Chennai: Two unidentified men hurled a petrol bomb at the fans of actor Ajith Kumar who assembled in front of a cinema theatre in Coimbatore city to watch his movie Valimai which was released today.

Fortunately, there were no casualties as the show was running inside the theatre and the bomb blasted over no-man’s land. However, the police officials have reportedly registered a case against the attack and have started their investigations.

The show continued and fans were allowed inside theatre to watch the movie.

Following the bomb attack, security was beefed up in other cinema halls where Valimai is being screened.

The movie opened big across Tamilnadu today. Directed by H Vinoth, the movie stars Ajith in the role of a cop.
