Chennai: To assess the quality of track for operation of passenger trains upto a maximum speed of 130 kmph, RDSO’s Confirmatory Oscillograph Car Run (COCR) is to be conducted in Chennai-Arakkonam-Renigunta section, Chennai Division, today.

The 24-rake LHB variant Coach is likely to be hauled by WAP5/WAP7 locomotive at the helm for the trial run.

A press release said, as per the tentative schedule, the trial run will be conducted between Chennai Central and Renigunta from 13:00 to 14:30 hours.

In the return leg, from Renigunta to Chennai Central, from 15:30 to 17:00 hours.

Public staying in the vicinity of railway lines between Chennai– Renigunta section in Chennai Division of Southern Railway are hereby cautioned not to approach/ trespass the railway lines.
