Chennai: Retired Kolkata High Court Judge Justice C S Karnan on Wednesday tested positive for Covid-19 and his condition was said to stable.

According to Government Stanley Medical College hospital Dean P Balaji, Karnan was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday evening for tiredness and for breathing issue.

A CT scan revealed some changes in the lung following which a RT-PCR test was done, which returned positive Wednesday. His condition is stable now, Dr Balaji said.

Karnan had tested negative for coronavirus after he was arrested by the Chennai Cyber Crime police on 2 December for making objectionable comments against the women and the judicial officers in a video clip.
