Vaanam Kottaum, produced by Mani Ratnam, is all set for release 7 February. The movie features Sarathkumar, Radikaa, Aishwarya Rajesh and Vikram Prabhu in the lead roles. The film is touted to be a complete family entertainer which revolves around brother-sister relationship.

Mani Ratnam, who penned the story, was originally supposed to direct the project. However, due to his other commitments the project was helmed by his associate Dhanasekharan. Vaanam Kottatum also stars Madonna Sebastian, Shanthanu and Balaji Sakthivel in pivotal roles. The film also marks the debut of singer Sid Sriram as a composer.
