Chennai: Chettinad Vidyashram, Chennai won the CBSE South zone Overall Swimming Championship, for the 10th consecutive year, held at Mettupalayam, Coimbatore recently.

According to a release, the tournament was hosted by Shree Sarasswathi Vidhyaah Mandheer School between 6 and 9 October and witnessed the participation of students from numerous schools across South India.

Students of Chettinad Vidyashram, apart from bagging the overall trophy also won several individual medals, relay team medals and Individual Championship trophies in the tournament.
