Chennai: Director Badri Venkatesh of Baana Kaathadi and Semma Botha Aagathey fame is helming Rio Raj, who recently starred in Sivakarthikeyan’s second production venture Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja. Buzz is that Remya Nambeesan would play the heroine.

The film will go on floors Thursday in the northern suburbs of Chennai. Being a travelogue, it film will be shot in various locations across the country. The film also has MS Bhaskar, Aadukalam Naren, Rekha, Viji Chandrasekar, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Robo Shankar, and Livingston.

Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose music for the movie. Thillalangadi-cinematographer Rajasekar will shoot the film, which will be edited by Sam.
