It was a delight to work in a movie like Gypsy. I traveled the length and breadth of the nation and learnt a lot.

All credits should go to my director Raju Murugan, said actor Jiiva.

Speaking at the audio launch of Gypsy Monday, Jiiva said, “If people appreciate me as a good actor after watching the movie, then I should thanks Raju Murugan’s writing. It gave me enough opportunity to prove my skills before the camera. I have no doubts that Gypsy is a musical hit from Santosh Narayanan’s stable.”

On his part, Santosh Narayanan, said, “When I heard the title Gypsy I was impressed. I was given enough freedom. Popular Carnatic vocalist T M Krishna has sung a number and we have used over 200 singers. Such projects are rare to come for a composer.”

Filmmakers Pushkar Gayathri, Seenu Ramasami, Karu Pazhaniappan, Meera Kadhiravan, lyricist Yuga Bharathy and producer Ambedhkumar also spoke on the occasion. The movie stars Natasha Wayne, Sunny Wayne, Lal Jose in prominent roles.
