Chennai: Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt Ltd. has announced the production achievement of 10 million units in India.

The brand had begun operations in India in 1985 and today has three manufacturing facilities at Surajpur, Faridabad and Chennai.

The 10 millionth product rolled out was FZS-FI Version 3.0 motorcycle from its Chennai factory. The firm had produced five million units in the last seven years.
