Chennai: The online registration and filling of applications for Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA-2019) began today and the last day for registration is 31 May.

According to a press release issued by Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), students can register through www.tneaonline.in and www.tndte.gov.in

DOTE has refuted reports saying that the www.tneaonline.in portal is not functioning. “The website has been paid till 2021,” it said.

Two helpline numbers – 044 2235 1014/15 – have been launched to help students. DOTE will conduct TNEA counselling this year from 3 July to 30 July.

The random numbers will be assigned 3 June. The certificate verification will take place from 6 June to 11 June and the ranklist will be announced 17 June.

The counselling for special category (differently-abled) will be held 20 June, ex-servicemen children 21 June and sports category 22 June.

The academic counselling (online) and vocational (in person) will commence from 3 July and will go on till 28 July.

The supplementary counselling (in person) will be held 29 July, SCA to SC counselling (in person) 30 July.
