Hyderabad: A boy missing for eight years was reunited with his parents in Hyderabad with the help of Facebook. The boy’s mother had lodged a complaint in 2011 after he had left his house without informing anyone.

In August 2018, the mother found the boy on Facebook under the name Dinesh Jena Lima and filed a fresh case. Cyber Crime sleuths traced the internet protocol address and found him at Ranakala village in Amritsar.

A police team went to Punjab and brought back the boy and reunited him with his parents.
