Erode: In a shocking incident, a middle-aged woman and two minor girls apparently from the same family jumped into a canal at Karaivaikkal and committed suicide.
According to media reports, the woman was 40-year-old and the two girls were aged 15 and 10.
The police are yet to identify the bodies of the deceased as none had come forward to claim them.
