Around 50 students completed a six month free training course on ‘General duty assistant’ conducted by RMD Pain and Palliative Care Trust held at T Nagar, Chennai, recently.
A press release said, Women Doctors Association president Dr ML Shyamala presented certificates in the presence of RMD Trust founder Dr Republica Sridhar, Dr Nagarjunan (senior faculty and consultant) and S Sathappan of Aspire System.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Republica Sridhar said that the course was sponsored by Aspire System under its Corporation Social Responsibility programme and students were selected from economically-challenged backgrounds from various parts of the State. These students were subsequently placed at various hospitals, she added.
