Tirupati: Owing to a minor damage at the end of the runway at the Renigunta airport, air traffic was disrupted for three hours on Tuesday.

According to an airport official, the damage was noticed in the afternoon, and was set right between 4 pm and 7 pm and the traffic restored later.

The official, however, did not say in detail about the damage was and how it had happened. A flight from Tirupati to Hyderabad and another in the return direction were delayed because of the situation.
