Office-bearers of Tamil Film Producers Council met Governor Banwarilal Purohit and invited him for Ilayaraja 75 event to be held on 2 an 3 February.

Sources said Banwarilal has given the nod to inaugurate the function. He will also be releasing a special edition book on the music director.

The event is held to celebrate Ilayaraja’s 75th birthday and the numerous achievements of the maestro.

Sources also said the TFPC has also invited Union Minister of State for Finance and Shipping Pon Radhakrishnan to take part in the event.
