Chennai: Sonalika International Tractors Limited, has recorded an overall growth of 14 per cent in December 2018, with total sales reaching 6,066 tractors as compared to 5,321 tractors the same period in 2017.

A release from the firm stated that the company has recorded overall sales of 87,507 tractors (domestic + exports) from April-December 2018, as compared to 72,438 tractors same period in 2017, resulting in 20.8 per cent growth.

Executive director, Sonalika Group, Raman Mittal, said, ‘We are…delighted with the overall company’s growth of 20.8 per cent on cumulative basis (April-December 2018) with exports registering robust growth of 36 per cent. Being a farmer centric brand, we are always focused that our tractors should increase the farmer’s income and as result we are also seeing consistent growth. In December, we have recorded 26 per cent growth in exports with 1,014 tractor sales and 11.9 per cent growth in domestic with 5,052 tractor sales.’
