Chennai: Students of classes VI-VIII of Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus, as a part of anti-plastic awareness drive, conducted a campaign to create awareness on ceasing the use of single-use plastic, like plastic bags and covers.

According to a press release, the students distributed paper bags to the public and raised slogans against plastic usage, opting for eco-friendly options.

They also distributed saplings in order to create a clean and green environment.
