The work on constructing a concrete pathway for the Padi canal in Mugappair west started many moons back and its yet to be completed.

The canal runs parallel to Park Road and cuts across the Ambattur Estate Road.

The concrete work on the Park Road side of the canal got over in October. The work on the other side, however, is stalled for some reason and the sludge has been left on the road. Residents request the authorities to clear it as soon as possible.
