After Sathyaraj’s Kattappa from Baahubali, it is Vijay Sethupathi’s Ayya from Seethakathi, who gets the pride of having a wax statue.

The makers of Seethakathi, which is a milestone 25th flick of Vijay Sethupathi, have unveiled a wax statue of his 75-year-old character called Ayya in the movie.

As planned, veteran director and actor Mahendran who is also a part of the movie unveiled the wax statue at Express Avenue Mall in Royepettah on Sunday. The pictures of the statue have gone viral on social media.

Seethakathi directed by Naduvula Konjam Pakatha Kanom fame Balaji Tharaneetharan and the venture has Gayathrie Shankar, Mouli and Parvati Nair playing key roles. 96 fame Govind Vasantha has composed the music for Seethakathi. The movie is set to hit the screens on 20 December.
