Chennai: Sasikumar began shooting for Kombu Vecha Singamda. Produced by Inder Kumar’s Redhan Cinema of Kuttram 23 fame, the movie is helmed by Sundarapandian SR Prabhakaran. It is a rural action entertainer. Dhibu Ninan Thomas of Kanaa fame is composing music for Kombu Vecha Singamda. The movie went on floors with a pooja recently.

Premam girl Madonna Sebastian who was also seen in Vijay Sethupathi’s Kavan, Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum and Junga has been roped in to play Sasikumar’s romantic interest. Soori is the comedian in the film.
