Chennai:  Pasumpon Makkal Kazhagam at its third State general body meeting
held in Thiruporur on Sunday passed a resolution asking the State government to bring back the history lesson on Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar in school textbooks, which has been removed.

The kazhagam passed seven resolutions including re-electing its present president S Essakkimuthu, to pay homage to former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, requesting government to register the memorial land of Pasumpon Thevar in the name of his heirs.
