Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi on Friday reiterated that the National Education Policy (NEP) cannot be implemented as a “one-size-fits-all model,” stressing that each state should have the autonomy to design educational programmes best suited to its own social and cultural context.
Teachers’ demands to be addressed soon, says Anbil Mahesh
Tamil Nadu’s School Education Minister, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, on Friday assured that the demands raised by teachers will be fulfilled soon in consultation with Chief Minister MK Stalin, who is currently on an official visit to the United States. Addressing reporters, the minister emphasized his commitment to resolving the ongoing deadlock between the government and the Tamil Nadu Elementary Teachers Organizations Joint Action Committee (TETO-JAC), whose members boycotted schools last Tuesday in support of their demands.
