Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Thangam Thennarasu presented a supplementary budget of ₹3,531.05 crore for the current financial year in the Legislative Assembly.
Rs.3,685 cr allotted for railway projects in TN
Minister of State for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw visited the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and inspected the Vande Bharat express coaches under production and flagged off the 12,000 LHB AC-II Tier coach. Speaking to reporters after inspecting various facilities, he said the first two prototype rakes are planned to be turned out by August this year.
