Kamal Haasan won’t release ‘Thug Life’ in Karnataka on June 5

Actor Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Thug Life will not release in Karnataka on June 5, as planned for its worldwide launch. This decision comes after the actor chose not to apologise for his earlier statement that “Kannada is born out of Tamil.” The Karnataka High Court had suggested that Mr. Haasan end the issue by apologising.
