GCC tightens rules to curb dumping of construction debris

In a major crackdown on the rampant dumping of construction and demolition (C&D) waste, the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has rolled out a stringent Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to regulate and penalise unauthorised disposal of debris across the city.
