50,000 cusecs water released from Karnataka dams

With continuous heavy rainfall in the Cauvery catchment areas causing flooding, Karnataka has released 50,000 cusecs of water from the Kabini and Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) dams to Tamil Nadu.
