Tamil Nadu is already number one in creating jobs, and it is now working to become the top state in overall economic development too, said Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, the state minister.Speaking at an event in Palpannai, Tiruchy, the minister said the state government, led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, is focused on strong economic progress alongside job creation.
The event was part of the DCM-48 birthday celebrations of Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, organised by local party groups and trade associations. Certificates and awards were also given to achievers in different fields during the programme.
