AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palanisami criticised the DMK government, accusing it of staging “election drama” by focusing on Karur instead of addressing issues in Kallakurichi.
Campaigning in Dharmapuri district, he questioned why Chief Minister M.K. Stalin visited Karur after a recent tragedy but failed to visit Kallakurichi where more people had earlier died in HOOCH TRAGEDY.
Palanisami said the DMK is using selective outrage to appeal for votes, not out of real concern. He claimed the party has no consistent ideology and only seeks power using alliances opportunistically.
EPS alleged that the DMK government has raised taxes, failed to control drugs, and allowed law and order to deteriorate. He urged people to support the ADMK alliance in the 2026 polls to “save Tamil Nadu from misrule.”
