Speaking about her aspirations, Rukmini remarked that she admires how Dharma Films have produced iconic films and that she would “never say never” about joining such projects. She admitted she doesn’t have a fixed wishlist yet, but carries hope to be part of beautiful, dramatic, or love stories in Hindi cinema.
In Kantara: Chapter 1, Rukmini plays Kanakavathi, a regal and strong character. The film acts as a prequel to the original Kantara (2022) and will explore mythological elements and backstory. She also praised director Rishab Shetty for his detailed attention and multi-faceted involvement on set.
