Tehran, July 15: Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has warned that Israel is playing a harmful role in the Middle East. He asked all regional countries to stay united and fight against Israel’s actions.In a meeting with Iraq’s Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari in Tehran, Pezeshkian said, “The Zionist regime is trying to break up the region and steal its resources.”
He stressed the need for unity. “We must support each other and avoid division,” he said.
The President praised the strong ties between Iran and Iraq. He said their relationship is based on shared religion and culture. He promised that Iran would work to bring Muslim countries closer together.
Pezeshkian also said Iran is ready to work with Iraq in many areas.
The Iraqi minister praised Iran for its resistance during a 12-day standoff with Israel.
