Actor Mahat Raghavendra, best known for his roles in Mankatha, Jilla, and Double XL, has taken a bold new step—training in boxing under 2025 Australian Super Welterweight Champion Koen Mazoudier.

After a year of rigorous fitness training in India, Mahat spent three intensive months in Australia sharpening his skills. He described the experience as a powerful blend of “speed, focus, balance, and discipline.”

“This was more than just fitness,” said Mahat. “It was about adopting a fighter’s mindset—something that applies both in boxing and acting.”

Inspired by actor Ajith Kumar’s off-screen achievements in car racing, Mahat expressed his desire to break boundaries and participate in competitive sports. “Ajith Anna proved that actors can excel beyond cinema. I hope to do the same in a sport I love.”

Mahat’s physical transformation is expected to reflect in his future, especially in action-heavy roles, making him a talent to watch in both cinema and sport.
