Spiritual tour for Amman temples by TN govt in July

As part of its annual initiative announced in the Assembly, the Tamil Nadu government will take around 2,000 senior Hindu devotees on spiritual tours to various Amman temples in the Tamil month of Aadi, and to Vaishnava temples during Puratasi.
In 2024, 1,003 devotees were taken to Amman temples and 1,008 to Vaishnava temples. Continuing this, in 2025, spiritual trips are scheduled on July 18, 25 and August 1, 8, and 15, with tours starting from headquarters in Chennai, Thanjavur, Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Erode, and Tirunelveli.
Eligibility:
Devotees must be Hindus, aged 60–70 years
Annual income should be less than ₹2 lakhs
Must submit physical fitness certificate and Aadhaar/PAN copy
Application forms can be collected from zonal joint commissioner offices or downloaded from www.hrce.tn.gov.in.
