P. Kumar, the outgoing Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (North), has been reassigned as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (South), Greater Chennai Police. This posting fills an existing vacancy.

S. Vijayakumar, formerly serving as the Superintendent of Police, has been posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Tirunelveli. This appointment also addresses an existing vacancy in the district.
