Arjun Sampath, State President of the Hindu Makkal Katchi, has announced a one-day symbolic hunger strike on January 5 at the Palanganatham Roundabout in Madurai. The strike will emphasize the protection of Brahmins, the preservation of Sanatana Dharma, and protest against the alleged anti-Hindu actions of the Tamil Nadu government.

Speaking to the press, Arjun Sampath said, “In Tamil Nadu, Sanatana Dharma and the Brahmin community are continuously being mocked and insulted. A law must be enacted to protect Brahmins from such derogatory remarks. While the Prevention of Atrocities Act ensures immediate action for caste-based insults, no similar protection exists for Brahmins. Insults such as referring to Brahmins with derogatory terms like Madisaar and Maami go unnoticed and unaddressed.

During the Brahmin protection event held in Chennai on December 3, the Tamil Nadu government misrepresented the speech by Kasturi and treated her like a terrorist, chasing and arresting her. However, no action has been taken against singer Isaivani for her offensive song about Lord Ayyappa.
