DMK Organizing Secretary R.S. Bharathi has issued a statement urging party members and organizers to refrain from placing unauthorized banners, cutouts, and flex boards that inconvenience the public or disrupt traffic during public meetings and events.Guidelines Issued by the Chief Minister:
According to Bharathi, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had earlier directed that:
Only one or two banners may be placed at event venues, strictly with prior permission and proper safety measures.
Any violations of these guidelines will result in strict action against those responsible.
Reports of Non-Compliance:
Despite these clear instructions, Bharathi stated that reports have emerged of certain individuals disregarding the guidelines, which he described as acts of defiance against party discipline.
The statement also emphasized that:
Banners, cutouts, or flex boards should not be placed in a manner that disrupts events attended by the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, or Ministers.
Any violations in this regard will result in decisive action against the offenders.
The DMK reiterated its commitment to maintaining order and ensuring public convenience during its events.
