Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan paid floral tributes to the late journalist and former editor of the DMK’s mouthpiece Murasoli, ‘Murasoli’ Selvam, on Sunday. The tribute was made during a visit to the Gopalapuram residence of former Chief Minister and DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi.
Selvam, who was the brother-in-law of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, passed away on October 10 at the age of 85 due to a heart attack.
Governor Radhakrishnan paid his respects in the presence of Chief Minister MK Stalin, Selvam’s wife Selvi, BJP MLA Nainar Nagendran, and state BJP vice president Chakkaravarthy.
‘Murasoli’ Selvam played a significant role as the editor of Murasoli, the official newspaper of the DMK, and was widely respected in journalistic and political circles. His contributions to Tamil journalism and his association with the DMK were acknowledged during the tribute ceremony.
