Her performance has been hailed as a historic achievement for Indian wrestling.
In other notable updates from the Paris Olympics, Neeraj Chopra, known as India’s ‘Golden Boy,’ has advanced to the men’s javelin throw final with a season-best throw of 89.34 meters. Chopra’s impressive performance has set the stage for a thrilling final in his quest for another Olympic medal.
Meanwhile, the Indian men’s hockey team’s journey in the tournament came to a close as they lost 2-3 to Germany in the semifinals. Despite a strong performance throughout the tournament, the team fell short of reaching the final.
As the Olympics continue, Vinesh Phogat’s upcoming final match against Sarah Ann Hildebrandt will be a highly anticipated event, with Phogat looking to add a gold medal to India’s tally. Neeraj Chopra’s final throw is also set to be a highlight, as he aims to continue India’s success in athletics.
