The Regional Meteorological Centre has announced that an atmospheric circulation is currently impacting the southern regions of Tamil Nadu. This weather system is expected to bring light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning to various areas within Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal from July 13 to July 18.

Residents in these regions can expect cloudy skies to persist for the next 48 hours. According to the forecast, light to moderate rain, along with thunder and lightning, is likely to occur during the evenings and nights in certain parts of the city.

The weather forecast also indicates that temperatures will remain relatively high during this period. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36–37°C, while the minimum temperature will likely be between 26–27°C.
