Reports say that if the Madras High Court gives a green signal for conducting GC Meet at 9 am today, all measures to elect Edappadi K Palaniswami as interim general secretary of AIADMK would be taken up.

Cadres have started to throng Srivaru Mandapam in Vanagaram in large numbers since morning. Banners and festoons hailing EPS have been kept at many places.

Those who have been invited for the meet are allowed only after scanning the bar code provided in the invite.

Over 2,500 cops have been deployed in venue. Also traffic Police have been deployed at many places leading to the venue.
