DMK Lok Sabha MP Kanimozhi has been tested positive for COVID-19.

Following medical advice, Kanimozhi has chosen to go on isolation.

In April 2021, she was tested Covid positive. As part of election campaIgn, she toured the State extensively then. She developed Covid symptoms and was admitted to a private hospital.
