Sleuths of NIA are reportedly conducting raids at eight places across Tamilnadu for alleged ISI links.
Reports say that three places in Chennai are also raided by the NIA officials.
Following information shared by suspects already arrested in the case relating to campaigning and raising of funds for the ISIS, the NIA teams commenced searches at Chennai, Mayiladuthurai and Karaikal.
Remember last year NIA conducter raids in Tamilnadu and arrested one in Madurai in the Hizb-ut-Tahrir case. Also last year, NIA onducted raids at the houses of three persons in Thanjavur district for their suspected links with the Khilafat Movement.
