The Class 10 exam results will be declared on 17 June, Class 12 results on 23 June and Class 11 results on 7 July, officials said.

The next academic year (2022-23) for schools (except for Classes 11) will begin on 13 June. For Class 11 students, it will begin on 24 June.

Meanwhile, some schools have expressed concern about students writing board exams during peak summer. ‘The exam schedule gives more time for schools and teachers to prepare. However, our only concern is the heat,’ said a principal.

‘We are going to issue two sets of question papers before the exams. On the day of the exams, we will decide on which set of question papers would be issued to the students. We will take steps to ensure that no such (leakage of question papers) incidents take place in the future,’ School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi said.
