Chennai: Kanchi Sankaracharya Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, who is on a tour of south India, was accorded a warm welcome in Hyderabad.

Office-bearers and members of Swagatha Sabha arranged a grand event where the Seer was given a rousing reception.
During his ongoing tour, Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal has been visiting various places in Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana.

Stressing on the need for every individual to perform Swadharma, he spoke on various initiatives of the Peetam which help in inculcating such values.

At Sandur, He visited the cowshed where Kanchi Paramacharya Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Swamigal (Maha Periyavar) would perform Anushthanams and where the then President of India, Neelam Sanjeev Reddy had darshan.
