Chennai: The Chennai Metro Rail has announced expanding its services to two more stations- Tiruvottiyur Theradi and Wimco Nagar Depot.
Work on this route has been completed and approval has been accorded by the Metro Rail Safety Commissioner (CMRS) post inspection, said a CMRL press release.
‘Passengers are being informed that Metro Trains will stop in the above mentioned Metro Stations. It is also being informed passenger can park their vehicle (two wheeler and four wheeler) in Wimco Nagar Depot Metro Station free of charge till 31 March,’ a press note said.
Also, CMRL announced more than 2 lakh ridership on 11 March. CMRL had started passenger service from 29.6.2015 and had successfully completed six years of Metro services.
