Rumours are abuzz that Divya Sathyaraj, daughter of ace actor Sathyaraj and a popular nutritionist in the city, may test political waters by contesting from RK Nagar Assembly constituency this elections.

A few years ago, she had written a letter to Prime Minister Modi pointing out the malpractices and negligence in medicine, and that had made news.

Divya, who conducts workshops on vitamin deficiency in rural areas, had also requested the health minister of Tamilnadu to address iron deficiency anaemia in pregnant women.

Reports say that she want to serve the people at large and may try test political waters as independent candidate.
